DragIT AI processes your selected text and captured images solely to generate AI-powered answers and summaries. We do not sell, share, or store your personal data. All processing is transient.

1. What We Collect

DragIT AI collects the minimum data necessary to function:

• Selected text: Text you highlight on a webpage, sent to our server for AI processing. Not stored after the response is generated.
• Captured images: Screen regions you drag-select (OCR), sent as temporary image data for AI analysis. Not stored after processing.
• Authentication token: A random, anonymous UUID generated on install to authenticate API requests. Contains no personal information.
• Basic analytics: Anonymous, non-identifiable usage events (e.g., “extension installed”, “text summarized”) to improve the product. No personal data, browsing history, or content is tracked.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, address, phone number)
• Browsing history or URLs you visit
• Passwords, form data, or cookies
• Any data from pages you do not actively select or capture
• Data from other tabs, windows, or extensions

3. How We Process Data

When you select text or capture an image:

• The content is sent to our secure server (Cloudflare Worker) over HTTPS.
• Our server forwards it to a third-party AI provider (Groq) for processing.
• The AI-generated response is returned to your browser and displayed.
• No content is stored, logged, or retained on our servers after the response is delivered.
