Prompty processes the text you type in AI chatboxes solely to generate enhanced prompts. We do not sell, share, or store your personal data. All processing is transient —your prompt text is never retained after the response is delivered.

1. What We Collect

Prompty collects the minimum data necessary to function:

• Prompt text: Text you enter in an AI chatbox and choose to enhance. Sent to our server for AI processing. Not stored after the enhanced prompt is returned.
• Basic analytics: Anonymous, non-identifiable usage events (e.g., “extension installed”, “prompt enhanced”, “skill used”) to improve the product. No personal data, browsing history, or prompt content is tracked.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, address, phone number)
• Browsing history or URLs you visit
• Passwords, form data, or cookies
• The content of AI responses or chat conversations
• Data from pages where you do not actively click the Enhance button
• Data from other tabs, windows, or extensions

3. How We Process Data

When you click the Enhance button:

• Your prompt text is sent to our secure server over HTTPS.
• Our server routes it to the best-matching skill template and forwards it to our AI provider for enhancement.
• The AI-generated enhanced prompt is returned to your browser and pasted into the chatbox.
• No prompt content is stored, logged, or retained on our servers after the response is delivered.
